August 2008	Thelma wins her first CC. At the tender age of 21 months Thelma (Sovaroma Ruby Tuesday) has built on a successful 2007 and won her first CC at National Gundog under Sue Alderson. This gives her a Stud Book No. and a lifetime qualification for Crufts.
July 2008	The first Truffle Hunting Sussex? Nellie (Sovaroma West Country Gold) went Truffle Hunting and was filmed by CBBC for a series called "Animals at Work". She is entered for the first Truffle Hunting Championships (in the UK) to be held on 17th August which will also be covered by the programme. June 2008	Our first Champion. Ernie, owned by Colin and Sandra Padfield, won his all important third CC at Windsor under Dee Ashcroft making him Sh Ch Sovaroma Bombardier. His first was at City of Birmingham 2007 under Ann Moon and the second at Crufts 2008 under Betty Purkiss.
January 2008	Top Winning Puppy Thelma (Sovaroma Ruby Tuesday) is crowned Top Winning Sussex Puppy (sponsored by Pedigree) for 2007. She won 6 Best Puppy in Breed awards and a Puppy Group 4 during the year.
